RIGID Vs. SOFT CONTACTS
RIGID GAS PERMEABLE LENSES sometimes take a little longer initially to adapt. However, once the adaptation to the sensation is overcome, the vision is clear and crisp. The eyes have less tendency to develop eye infections. These are customized to fit a wide variety of corneal shapes.
SOFT LENSES are easier to adapt and are available increasingly in a wide variety of parameters to fit various types of conditions such as astigmatism with torics and multifocals for presbyopia. Sometimes they can cause dry eyes related discomfort or eye infections if overworn.
